Special Issues and Supplements Policy

Latitude Xero. Journal of Multidisciplinary Research may publish special issues, thematic issues, or supplements dedicated to specific topics of scientific, academic, or professional interest, as well as conferences, symposiums, research projects, and other scholarly initiatives of national or international relevance.

The publication of special issues or supplements must be approved by the Editorial Board, which will determine their thematic scope, structure, timeline, editorial requirements, and scientific quality standards.

When necessary, the journal may appoint an Ad Hoc Editorial Committee or designate Guest Editors with recognized expertise in the corresponding subject area. These editors will collaborate in the academic and editorial coordination of the issue under the supervision of the journal’s Editorial Board.

All manuscripts included in special issues or supplements must comply with the same editorial policies, ethical standards, and scientific evaluation procedures applied to regular issues of the journal, including the double-blind peer review process, except for contributions that are legitimately exempt from peer review due to their editorial nature.

Special issues or supplements may include:

  • Original research articles.
  • Review articles.
  • Systematic reviews.
  • Case studies.
  • Academic essays.
  • Short scientific communications.
  • Editorials.
  • Conference proceedings.
  • Other scholarly contributions approved by the Editorial Board.

The publication of special issues aims to strengthen the dissemination of scientific knowledge, promote international academic collaboration, and provide a platform for discussion of emerging, innovative, and highly relevant topics for the global scientific community.
