Preprint Policy

Latitude Xero. Journal of Multidisciplinary Research accepts manuscripts that have been previously deposited in recognized preprint repositories at the national or international level.

The prior publication of a manuscript as a preprint will not be considered formal publication and will not affect its eligibility for submission and scientific evaluation by the journal, provided that authors disclose this information during the submission process.

Authors must indicate the name of the preprint server, the date of deposit, and the corresponding identifier or URL when submitting the manuscript.

Once the article has been published in the journal, authors are encouraged to update the preprint record by including the complete bibliographic reference, DOI (when applicable), and a link to the final published version.

The journal recommends the use of recognized preprint servers such as SciELO Preprints, OSF Preprints, arXiv, SSRN, bioRxiv, medRxiv, and other open-access academic repositories that support the early and responsible dissemination of research findings.

Latitude Xero. Journal of Multidisciplinary Research considers preprints an important mechanism for promoting open science, accelerating scholarly communication, increasing research visibility, and fostering academic exchange among researchers and scientific communities worldwide.
