LXJMR integrates with essential academic infrastructure providers. Metadata (article titles, author names, and abstracts) is shared with:
- Cross ref: To assign Zenodo DOIs.
- Academic Discovery Services: Metadata is shared with international academic indexing databases and digital discovery repositories to ensure global visibility of research and ongoing record keeping.
Note: These third parties process metadata according to their own privacy standards for the purpose of maintaining global academic records.
- Data Breach Protocol
In the unlikely event of a data breach involving personal information, LXJMR follows a rigorous notification protocol:
Breach Notification: Affected users will be notified via their registered email address within 72 hours of the discovery of any breach that poses a risk to their data rights.
- Children's Privacy Clause
LXJMR is a professional academic platform aimed at researchers and higher education students (typically 18+). We do not knowingly collect or maintain personal information from individuals under the age of 13. If we become aware of this data, it is immediately deleted from our servers.
- Retention and Rights
Author metadata is permanently retained to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record. Users retain the right to access, rectify or object to the processing of their data by contacting our support office
