Interoperability Protocols
Latitude Xero. Journal of Multidisciplinary Research incorporates international interoperability protocols and scholarly communication standards that facilitate the visibility, indexing, collection, preservation, and dissemination of its scholarly content in national and international scientific information systems.
The journal uses the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH), which allows published metadata and content to be automatically collected by institutional repositories, academic directories, databases, digital libraries, scientific search engines, and specialized indexing systems.
The implementation of the OAI-PMH protocol strengthens interoperability between publishing platforms, increases the international visibility of articles and favors the integration of the journal with digital preservation services, open access and exchange of scientific information.
Likewise, this system facilitates the dissemination, retrieval, discovery and reuse of published scientific content, promoting greater accessibility, academic impact and international scope of research.
The journal uses metadata standards compatible with the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, favoring integration with indexes, directories, academic repositories and scientific information services recognized worldwide.
