Post-Publication Corrections and Retractions

The corresponding author or lead author is responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the scientific content published in Edunexis. Journal of Education & Social Research and must immediately notify the editorial team if any errors, inaccuracies, or issues requiring correction are identified after publication.

The journal follows the guidelines and best practices established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) for managing corrections, clarifications, expressions of concern, and article retractions.

In cases involving scientifically significant errors, methodological inconsistencies, unreliable findings, ethical misconduct, plagiarism, data manipulation, or any irregularity affecting the academic validity of the published work, the journal may issue:

  • Editorial corrections.
  • Errata.
  • Academic clarifications.
  • Expressions of concern.
  • Partial or full article retractions.

Editorial decisions regarding corrections or retractions will be made objectively, transparently, and based on academic and ethical principles, ensuring due editorial process.

Likewise, the journal encourages post-publication academic and scientific discussion through communications, academic observations, and letters to the editor, promoting critical exchange and scientific transparency.
